Privacy notice
Last updated 1 November 2026
This notice explains how ROEYA HealthCare uses personal data when you visit our websites, register for our courses and congresses, sign up for our updates or contact us. It covers ROEYA HealthCare, ROEYA Training Center (including the congresses it organises, such as Egypt GastroHep), ROEYA Scope, ROEYA Import and ROEYA Research.
Who we are
ROEYA is a trade name of Dar Al Elm for Medical Services, a company registered in Egypt (Commercial Register No. 82679), head office 27 Crazy Water Axis, Sheikh Zayed City, Giza, Egypt. We decide how your data is used (we are the "controller"). Contact us about your data at marketing@roeyahealthcare.com.
What we collect
- Contact details you give us: name, mobile or WhatsApp number, email, country.
- For ROEYA Training and its congresses: your profession, the topics you are interested in and, when you register, the details the registration form asks for (such as your hospital and the courses you choose) and your payment status.
- Your choices: which channels and messages you agreed to, your language, and when you changed or withdrew them.
- A record of your agreement: date and time, the page or message and the exact wording you agreed to, and basic technical data from that moment (such as IP address and browser).
Our sign-up forms do not ask about your health. Medical records at ROEYA Scope clinics are handled separately, under medical confidentiality, and are never used for updates or marketing.
Why we use it
- To manage your registration: confirmation, payment, badge, hands-on places, surveys and certificates.
- To send you the announcements, tips and campaign dates you asked for, on the channels you chose. For these we rely on your consent, and you can withdraw it at any time.
- To keep a record of your consent and of any request to stop, so we can show we respect your choices and never message you after you say stop.
- To answer you when you contact us.
- To understand, in total numbers, which messages are useful (for example, how many people opened an email).
We do not sell your data and we do not share it with other companies for their own marketing.
Who handles it for us
We use service providers that process data only on our instructions: email newsletters (Mailchimp), registration emails (Microsoft 365), WhatsApp messages (WhatsApp Business Platform, by Meta), card payments (Stripe and Paymob), and website hosting and databases (Vercel and Supabase). Some of these providers store data outside Egypt. Where that happens, we take the steps that Egyptian data-protection law requires.
How long we keep it
We keep your contact details while you are subscribed, and registration records for as long as we need them for accounting and certificates. If you stop, we keep only your number or email on a do-not-contact list, together with the record of your consent and withdrawal, so we can prove we respected your choice.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, and you can stop messages at any time: reply STOP to any WhatsApp or SMS message, use the link at the bottom of any email, or use the stop page. To use any other right, email us. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to Egypt's Personal Data Protection Center.
Children
Our updates are for adults. We do not knowingly sign up anyone under 18.
Cookies
Our websites use only the cookies and browser storage needed for them to work (for example, keeping a registration form or the back office signed in). We do not use advertising cookies.
Changes
If we change this notice, we will update the date above. If a change affects how we use the data you already gave us, we will tell you first.
